Awaits Football Manager 2010

Everything looked so unfamiliar as I returned to the dashboard of this WordPress blog, I had gone missing once (yet) again. After some hectic weeks at work, a well-deserved holiday would make up for everything, nevertheless the overseas trip that I went did not turn out well as what I expected. Sigh!

Being a non-gamer, be it the PC, PS2 or PSP, that explains why my PS2 and PSP are collecting spider-web at home. All these years, the only game that had kept my interest is Championship Manager later renamed as Football Manager. I’ve been an avid fan and follower of this football/soccer management game. It never made me bored, less the last Football Manager 2009 which I failed to play on my PC and played a few months on my PSP.

I’m delighted to see the above photograph of my idol Andy Lau together with his girlfriend Carol Zhu Liqian, finally it’s official! I have knew it all these years that they’re a couple. Hope that all those jealous fans whom e-mail or leave comments on my AndyLauSounds website can stop now.

Nevertheless, I was rather angry and amazed on the article on Andy Lau with regards to this incident on the New Paper on 25 August 2005 by Maureen Koh.

Tencent QQ, generally referred to as QQ, is the most popular free instant messaging computer program in Mainland China, and the world’s third most popular IM service.

I’m quite an avid user of it because of the interesting and interactive games they have (which I will share in future post). Recently out of boredom, I got myself a new ID, “disguising” as a 28-years-old female staying in Shenzhen. Within minutes, I had fellow male QQs requesting to add me. Of course, I approve them.

Surprise, surprise …

TGX09 vs. ChinaJoy 2009

July 30, 2009 chartao Leave a comment

Earlier this month, I attended TGX09 event with THB many thanks to the invitation of BLOG2u.SG.

I did brought my reliable ‘lau kok kok’ Canon A95 digital camera, but discovered that the 4 AA batteries were flat, thus I went to TGX09 without my camera, if I wanted any photographs, I could grabbed some from THB.

With both of us being non-gamer, we took around 5 minutes to walk through the whole exhibition, without any photographs taken, no idea what to write. Sigh, what a disappointment.

However, it could be a different story if TGX09 is as “happening” as ChinaJoy 2009.

I’m back!

July 29, 2009 chartao 7 comments

Due to changes in my lifestyle, I had not been blogging for some time. Other commitments had took up much of my time. Priorities changed. Napaboaniya even though I was kidnapped by aliens!!! ;P

Blogging is kinda strange, constant blogging will motivate you to blog more, however when you cut down on blogging, then you became lazy and all the blogger instinct and interest in me died off… you won’t have the urge to blog anymore! That’s what happened to me.

I decided to give another shot to blogging, however my posts not so long widened, maybe just a short post will do, maybe not so frequent… and it could be less personal.. as in blog whatever I deem suitable.

With a fresh approach, I switched and use a new platform in WordPress.

In this way, I could also blog in a more anonymous manner …. haha… as if I’m an anonymous blogger.
