Bao Fa Traditional Food Claypot Chicken Rice

Two weeks ago, the battery of my dad’s car went dead and I had to quickly rushed home to jump start for him in order to drive to the nearest workshop at Bukit Batok to change a new battery. Since that we were nearby, decided to have dinner at a coffee shop at Block 283 Bukit Batok East Ave 3. It’s alleged that Bao Fa Traditional Food Claypot Chicken Rice is good through word of mouth from my colleague and my mum gave the thumbs up after trying it once.

Claypot Chicken rice is rice cooked with soy sauce in a claypot, then topped with braised chicken, salted fish and Chinese sausage. (extracted from Wikipedia: Singapore cuisine)

Kway chap @ 276 JW

Last week, I’m rather glad that my usual lunch partner went on leave so that I could escape from the usual routine of having lunch at the same canteen. Come to think of it, I have a boring life!

Decided to drive out to a nearby coffee shop at 276 Jurong West Street 25 for my lunch. Looking at the stalls, decided to order kway chap which I have not ate for quite some time.

Tiong Bahru Hainanese Boneless Chicken Rice

What’s your favorite food? I can shout out loudly that my favorite food is Hainanese Chicken Rice!!! I can never grow tired of it, would eat it at least once per week…twice or more….

One of my favorite stall is Tiong Bahru Hainanese Boneless Chicken Rice at Tiong Bahru Food Market & Hawker Centre (one of my family’s favorite to look for good hawker food!)

Feasting @ Pizza Hut

It was my younger brother’s birthday and suggest to have Pizza Hut as celebration instead of the usual seafood or zhi char dinner. We then headed to the branch at Jurong Point.

There was a short queue as now they have a Weekday Wonders 1-for-1 deals with 15 different 1-for-1 choices but limited to 2 redemptions per table. We checked out the menus while queuing and were escorted to our table after 10 minutes.
